After many rumors circling concerning weight issues, it seems Canelo Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. have made weight for Saturday’s showdown in Las Vegas.
Each fighter needed to be at or below the 164.5-pound limit or they would face a $1 million penalty that would go directly to their opponent.
Chavez Jr. has had issues in the past with making weight, but on Friday made 164 pounds fairly easily.
