Ronda Rousey Responds after Her Boyfriend’s Wife Mocks Her on Social Media

Ronda Rousey’s appearance on SNL prompted a huge social media buzz, but the ring she was spotted wearing while promoting the show became an even bigger news.

The SNL gig was the female fighter’s first appearance since her shocking loss to Holly Holm. And aside from her standups and skits, she caught the social media’s attention further by wearing what looked like an engagement ring in the teasers for the episode. The photos highlighting the ring reached Renee Webb, the wife of Rousey’s current boyfriend, Travis Browne, who is also a UFC fighter.

Web turned to Twitter and Instagram to mock Rousey.

Browne has been accused of domestic violence last year, and the estranged couple’s divorce papers are currently pending.

Rousey’s crew has shut down the rumors that the UFC fighter is already engaged. According to her representatives, the ring is not a promise ring or an engagement ring, but just one of the jewelry which she tried on during the promo shoot.

In her Instagram, ‘Rowdy’ seems to have responded to Webb’s blasts by posting a quote from the movie ‘Rocky Balboa.’ The quote says, “Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you!”
