Nate Diaz doesn’t need to fight anytime soon after ‘banking out’ with Marijuana businesses

When we think of the Diaz brothers.. we think of the 209, fighting on the streets and of course, weed.

After making two huge payday’s from the two McGregor fights, Nate Diaz is looking at his bank account a lot differently lately. But with the increase in revenue has came an increase in fame, and Diaz has been breaking down the barriers of the mainstream media.

People underestimate the fact that the Diaz brothers are actually smart businessmen. Their openness for legalising cannabis is public knowledge, and Diaz even used a CBD oil Vape Pen after his fight with Michael Johnson in 2015.

“It’s CBD. It helps with the healing process and inflammation, stuff like that. So you want to get these for before and after the fights, training. It’ll make your life a better place.”

With his marijuana affiliations in the public eye, Diaz has apparently gotten involved in a number of business ventures surrounding it.

“I banked out in the cannabis industry from it. … It was a good move and it was organic.”

Diaz was seen at the recent Cannabis cup, an expo for marijuana businesses and companies. His presence at these type of events are more regular than you’d think.

So on top of making bank from investing in companies and attending events related to cannabis, Diaz had a hand in changing the UFC’s post-fight drug test rule. Previously, fighters could be tested within a six hour window after the fight. Now, fighters are only required to give a post-fight test and then be freed from testing for the remainder of the night. Diaz and his CBD oil pen, he says, was a huge influence on the changes.

“Compliments of your boy here. … Now we could do our thing. I’ve been a game changer. We just ain’t get no credit for it.”

So that’s good news for Nate Diaz, but maybe bad news for him fighting anytime soon. Who should he fight next? McGregor? GSP? Tony Ferguson? Let us know in the comments below!
