Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson weighs in 40 pounds more than opponent for Bellator 175

By Jonathan Byrne / March 31, 2017

Heavier fighter… heavier punches?’

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and ‘King’ Mo Lawal are set to face off in the main event of Bellator 175 Saturday night. The fight, originally pitting two light-heavyweights, was set for the 265 pound heavyweight limit.

Coming in to the weigh ins, Rampage had given several interviews discussing his lack of motivation in fighting and almost regretting starting to train MMA in the first place. This was a rather unusual move for someone heading in to a high profile fight.

On Friday’s weigh-ins, King Mo weighed in at a light 212 pounds for the Heavyweight division. Then stepped up Rampage, who weighed in at a whopping 253. The size difference was quite visible when they faced off.

This is quite a contrast to the weigh-in photo from a few years ago when they fought for the first time at 205.
