Yep… the former five-weight world champ boxer, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather hinted that he wanted to try his hand at mma…

The hints came in some recent posts to his social media profiles and show him pacing up and down.

This is what we’ve all been waiting for… we’re all pretty sure we know how it’s going to go down though. Mayweather stepping into McGregor’s ring? It’s going to be an interesting event for sure.

No date has been confirmed just yet.

They inevitably led to talk of the legendary boxer rematching McGregor, who unsurprisingly had a witty response to ‘Money’s’ videos.

“He should. I went into his game, he should come into mine.”

The chances of McGregor battling Mayweather in his UFC comeback fight are slim to none as he has yet to defend his lightweight title.

McGregor, 29, hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since claiming the 155lbs title in the main event of UFC 205, a card which saw him become the first fighter in the promotion’s history to hold two titles concurrently.

At this moment in time, it looks like his comeback fight will take place in the summer of 2018.
